Tires product line

A tire is a rubber ring, usually filled with air, that fits around the wheel of a car, motorcycle, or other vehicle. Tires are designed to support the weight of the vehicle, absorb road shocks, transmit traction, torque and braking forces to the road surface and maintain and change the direction of travel. To fulfill these four basic functions tires are made of resilient rubber and filled with compressed air.

Most cars now have radial tires. While designs vary by product and manufacturer, an average tire contains well over 100 separate components. Tires can include natural rubber, synthetic rubber, steel, nylon, silica (derived from sand), polyester, carbon black, petroleum, etc.

Most motorcycle tires fall into five main types: race, sport, off-road, cruising, and touring. All motorcycles should be equipped with the tire size specified by the motorcycle manufacturer as found in the owner’s manual or manufacturer’s website.
